About Me
I'm an experienced writer and childcare provider who loves to work with people!
I have a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University and a Master of Professional Studies from Georgetown University (where I studied journalism as an Onassis Foundation Scholar). While at Georgetown, I also served as a secretary for the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ Georgetown Chapter.)
I've also worked for Gaea Products in Greece and Mana Products in Long Island, and I've interned at various places, including the press office of the Greek Embassy in D.C., CNN Greece, and the Minotaur Group, a geopolitics consultancy firm in D.C.
I've also been involved with Greek-American organizations in the US, serving as the Writer and Communications Coordinator for NHSA. Currently, I work as a preschool teacher, part-time coordinator for the National Hellenic Society, and social media manager for AcousticSmart.
Our family consulting service: Kefalogiannis-P Consulting Service. On the creative side, I'm in charge of various companies' social media accounts, advertising, and cultural projects in Greece. My most recent project was in collaboration with the Heraklion municipality.
My biggest passions are writing, children & pets, food & travel, and nature & the environment. Here you'll find some of my articles, poems, fiction stories, recipes, and life advice. Enjoy!
